What are the restrictions for entering the “Classic Car” entry? All model cars 1973 and older are accepted. However, new this year, if your car is newer than 1973 you can enter in the “Sport and Special Interest” Category.
What is the host hotel? The Laurel Inn in Salinas. You can access their website at www.laurelinnmotel.com or call (831) 449-2474. They have a block of rooms reserved at discounted prices.
If I didn’t attend last year am I still on the mailing list? Yes, you remain on the mailing list until we no longer have a valid address (you move) or you request to be removed.
How do I buy general admission tickets (not entering a car-“spectator”) for Laguna Seca? You can purchase those tickets at the gate at Laguna Seca the day of the event.
Is there a fee for the Monterey night events? If you are a spectator there is no fee, it’s FREE. If you want to enter you car in the cruise and/or show n’shine you must be a registered participant.
Can I register for only some of the show (i.e. Just the cruise)? You must pay and register for the whole event. You can participate in which parts of the event you prefer after that.
Why does my credit card have charges from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital? Cherry’s Jubilee is an event put on by the non-profit Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation.
If I registered for the show but find that I cannot attend, will my package be automatically mailed to me? No. If you request your package be sent to you we will try to be accommodating. You can request this at nwoods@svmh.com
Do vendors have to setup on Friday (as stated on the forms)? Yes, unless you make prior arrangements with Jim Bowman or Dave Walker. You can reach them at 726-4747(Jim) or 242-5487 (Dave).
What if I forget my proof of valid insurance and/or valid drivers license at final registration? You will be unable to complete your registration and pick up your packet. You will be unable to participate in the event. We cannot make any exceptions to this rule (even if we know you and you have been coming for years). The State of California and our insurance company govern us. |
