Working Show Trucks Join Cherry’s

The Car Committee of Cherry’s has added a category for Working Show Trucks. If you have not seen one of these cherried out big beauties you are in for a real treat.  They work everyday running the entire nation hauling cargo such as produce and dairy products.  Some of them may have as many as 2 million miles and they are kept in mint condition.  

A show truck is more than a work vehicle.  It is an extension of it’s owner's personality. Some may take on a theme, while others use imaginative paint schemes. As explained on the website www.WorkingShowTrucks.com, one thing always present is chrome.  In recent years the trend has been to paint traditional chrome pieces. Each truck is unique and is a rolling piece of art work.  Truckers are the backbone of our nation. The unsung heroes of the work force, truckers are a vital part of our nation’s economy and well being and we welcome them to our event.
